Tokyo—21 March 2011—Immediately following the earthquake and tsunami of March 11, CTSS Group – (Corporate and Transportation Security Solutions) Group Japan K.K. devised a plan to aid displaced citizens by providing modular temporary high-quality housing units. The company has been able to successfully solidify an immediate procurement plan through its contacts with the highest levels of government, including the Prime Minister’s office, as well as public and private charity organizations, trusts and NGOs, such as AAR, one of the largest humanitarian non-governmental organizations in Japan.

CTSS Group is on track to exceed the delivery and installation of 500 modular housing units per week on an ongoing basis in order to satisfy the needs of citizens in Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima and Ibaraki. Mina Konishi, CEO of the company, and Country Director, Izuru Sugawara, have been able to secure funding and governmental support based on CTSS Group’s decade-long reputation of high-quality goods and services.

The housing units are sealed from precipitation, dust and other contaminates and can withstand 70-mile per hour winds. These temporary living quarters can house up to three adults and can be assembled in only 30 minutes.

CTSS Group’s ability to supply these housing units is an extension of its core competencies of logistics, transportation services and procurement of various products for both public and private entities. Tokyo—29 March 2011— As previously announced immediately following the earthquake and tsunami of March 11, CTSS Japan – devised a plan to aid displaced citizens by providing modular temporary high-quality housing units. The company has been able to successfully solidify an immediate procurement plan through its contacts with the highest levels of government, including the Prime Minister’s office, as well as public and private charity organizations, trusts and NGOs, such as AAR, one of the largest humanitarian non-governmental organizations in Japan.

CTSS Japan is pleased to announce that the initial housing units have now left their respective manufacturers and are due to arrive in Japan shortly. These initial deliveries will be followed by regularly scheduled weekly deliveries of ever increasing volume as production is increased.

The housing units are sealed from precipitation, dust and other contaminates and can withstand 70-mile per hour winds as well as earth quakes. These temporary living quarters can house up to three adults in various configurations and can be assembled in only 30 minutes.
