In cases where no other viable solution can be found – in cases where the client faces the risk of physical or physiological harm or kidnapping CTSS Group could provide Evacuation Services for its client(s). CTSS Group also provides (with the approval of the next of kin and the responsible institutions involved) Emergency Extraction from situations of potential or real harm or illegal detainment. While the later Emergency Extraction might involve considerable risk for the subject, it can at times be the only alternative if all negotiation alternatives have failed. All such operations are strictly contingent on developing a reasonable plan of action and all other alternatives having been exhausted. The client needs to understand that such operations can involve a considerable amount of risk.

Our extraction plans have been developed with the safety of the client in mind. Our priority is to the client and his/her/their safety first and foremost. We currently have employees with experience in volatile areas around the globe ready to meet any potential need on a short notice.

Evacuation plans are conceived and prepared to be implemented at relatively short notice. They can be developed as a simple guideline for clients to follow in order to safely remove themselves from a particular location or, as a more comprehensive solution involving an entire package including providing an extraction mechanism organized and administered by us.

In particular cases, where sudden changes in the security environment could take place, CTSS Group staff can also continuously monitor the situation for a particular client, providing them with early warning of any potentially harmful developments. As such, the plans are prepared to continuously monitor an evolving situation or particular environment and to react to any changes in organized but prompt manner.

While no company ever wishes to partake or be forced into a situation that requires the extraction of its employees, it is soon occassion necessary. However, all care should be taken to avoid unnecessary emergency extraction, not only to avoid costs, but also to reduce the inherent risk that is always present during such action. Moreover, unnecessary extractions can cause severe disruption to business operations and disputes with local and national authorities. If an emergency extraction becomes necessary, CTSS Group has a number of options at its disposal - which will be used depends on not only the location of the client but also the urgency of the extraction - ranging from chaperoned and accompanied scheduled commercial flights to private charter evacuation or using land or sea transportation and armed escorts. All extractions conducted by the CTSS Group are supervised and lead by employees with extensive expertise operating in the local environment.
